Kick off with BOSS Shelter Programs

Today, on Sep 9/13, Medi-Debrief did their first kick off with BOSS Shelter Programs, in which we taught 13 children about chemical reactions, DNA, and digestion! We were so excited to help the students learn today!

We did our favorite strawberry DNA extraction, Elephant Toothpaste, as well as a new experiment called digestion in a bag. We modeled how digestion works through crackers, a ziploc bag, and through white vinegar to show the process of digestion. The kids loved the experiments, especially the elephant toothpaste. We can't wait to do more!
